PARKING: Parking Update for Camp Erdman

Effective immediately, Kingdom Man is excited to offer parking space for all who wish to attend Camp. Our team is working tirelessly to accommodate all parking. However, as with every space in Hawai’i parking can be maxed out if everyone arrives in a single vehicle. To accommodate this limitation, we would like to introduce updated parking options for your convenience:

  1. Carpool Parking: We encourage attendees to carpool to the event. By registering for a Carpool Parking Pass, which accommodates 3 or more men per vehicle, you can access free parking during the camp.

  2. Drop-Off and Pick-Up Arrangements: Another alternative is to coordinate your drop-off and pick-up logistics for Camp Erdman to ease the parking burden.

TRANSPORTATION: There is no transportation provided to and from camp.

CAMP CHECK-IN: Check-in for camp will begin at 2:00 pm, Thursday, 16 May. Signs will be posted directing you to the check-in station and the KM Team will be on-site to answer any questions. Registration will remain open through the evening to accommodate those coming from work later in the evening.

CAMP SCHEDULE: A camp schedule will be emailed to all registered guests detailing each day's events and it will be posted on the KM website.

LODGING OPTIONS: When registering there are two options for lodging, cabin or tent. If you select a tent, you must bring your own tent. Your tent site will be provided at check-in. If you select cabin your cabin number will also be provided at check-in.

MIKE KAI

From humble beginnings in 2001 to a thriving multi-site congregation, Pastors Mike and Lisa Kai are passionate about building the Church. They are visionary leaders with hearts to advance the Kingdom of God by attracting non-believers to Christ, connecting them to their church family, training them for life and ministry and sending each person to fulfill their God-given potential.

Pastors Mike believes that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind can comprehend what God has for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9),” and out of this conviction has sparked the emergence of the Equip and Inspire Network. Each year, the Network hosts the Arise Women’s Conference, Kingdom Man Conference, and the Equip and Inspire Conference, which empower people from across the Hawaiian Islands, US Mainland, and Internationally.

Mike and Lisa reside in Honolulu and are the proud parents of three daughters and two grandchildren. Mike has traveled to speak at conferences and to congregations all over the world and conducts pastor’s and leader’s round tables nationally and internationally. Mike is the author of The Pound for Pound Principle and Plateaus.

Jurgen Matthesius

Pastor Jurgen Matthesius is the founder of Awaken Church - a thriving, life-giving church in multiple locations throughout San Diego County, and another campus in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a dynamic communicator and has masterfully developed leaders and teams from within their church community.

Pastor Jurgen and his wife Leanne had a profound and long lasting impact on the city of Auckland especially amongst its youth. Jurgen had become a popular speaker in colleges and high schools and had grown and developed the youth ministry at South City CLC to make it one of the largest in the nation at that time.

Pastor Jurgen is the author of Push, Awaken, Leadersight, God in Hollywood, and Walk on Water. He and his wife, Leanne, serve together in San Diego, where they live with their daughter and three sons.

Am I able to come in and out of the campsite at my leisure or for work or other needs?

Kingdom Man Camp provides the best atmosphere for men to thrive in fellowship, community, and growth. Hosting the camp at Camp Homelani allows us to focus on our growth uninterrupted. Our goal is to encourage every man to invest in all three days with their time and commitment. We will not be offering day rates for the camp for this reason.

Am I able to pay in increments rather than the whole fee upfront?

Absolutely! On our registration site, you have the option to submit a down payment to secure your registration and pay off the remainder of your fee throughout the next few months until Camp begins.

Am I able to bring my son with me?

Exciting change this year. Learning from previous camps, we have decided to allow all boys to attend with their fathers, regardless of age. Boys under the age of 18 must have an accompanying parent, legal guardian or designated guardian as permitted by the boy’s parents or guardians. Minors under the age of 18 will not be permitted to attend alone. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss a specific circumstance.

What should I bring?

  • Tent if you chose this option during registration (no max size, but be mindful that many choose this option, so set-up space may be limited. Use hammered pegs, as this location experiences high winds at times.)

  • Snacks (no cooking/grilling/portable stoves needed)

  • Water bottle/canteen

  • Clothes for 3 days/2 nights

  • Swimwear

  • Athletic shoes

  • Slippers

  • Sheets, pillows, blanket

  • Hygiene products

  • Bible, journal, pens

  • Sunscreen

  • Flashlight
