Privacy Policy for the Kingdom Man App

Effective July 17, 2026

The Kingdom Man app is published by Kingdom Man, the men's ministry of Inspire Church (Hawaiʻi). This policy describes what the app collects, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the ministry, we never sell data, we show no ads, and we do no advertising tracking of any kind.

What the app collects

  • Account. The app creates an anonymous account automatically on first launch — no sign-up required. You may optionally add your name, your email address (so your history survives a new phone), your Inspire campus, and the year you joined Kingdom Man.

  • Your walk. Devotional reading progress and streak, and — only if you choose to write them — a personal mission statement, a life verse, and up to three private prayer focuses.

  • Ministry participation. Event RSVPs, devotional circles you create or join, and accountability pairings.

  • Connect & prayer submissions. If you fill out the Connect form or submit a prayer request, we collect what you type there (which may include your name and contact details) so a ministry leader can follow up.

The app does not access your contacts, location, photos, or microphone, and it contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Who can see what

  • Only you: your personal mission, life verse, prayer focuses, and devotional progress. These are private by design — not visible to other members and not visible to ministry leaders.

  • Ministry leaders only: prayer requests and Connect submissions you send, which exist precisely so a leader can respond.

  • Members you choose: your name is visible to men in a devotional circle you join and to an accountability partner you accept. Nothing in the app is a public feed.

Where the data lives

Data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, and is encrypted in transit. Scripture shown in the app is provided by YouVersion (Bible App); when a passage loads, your device contacts YouVersion's service, subject to YouVersion's own privacy policy. Daily reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device and send nothing to us.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time inside the app: Profile → Settings (gear icon) → Delete account. This permanently erases your profile, devotional history, mission, life verse, prayer focuses, circles, pairings, and submissions — there is no undo, and no copy is retained.

If you no longer have the app installed, email us at the address below from the email tied to your account and we will delete it for you.

Children

Kingdom Man is a men's ministry; the app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
